We are already so together that the words “group” or “members” definitely do not suit us

We have become a community in which everyone knows where to find coffee in the morning, who is silent, and who is better not to touch until nine o'clock.
At nine o'clock in the morning we have a minute of silence. Silence in which everyone remembers their own. In which we realize that we must live with dignity for the sake of those who gave us such an opportunity at the cost of our own lives.
Here veterans, their families, wives of fallen and missing heroes – we work together on ourselves, look for new meanings and recover. This time there were many children with us. When the teacher couldn't come, we just decided to be them one by one. That's how we live: sometimes therapy, sometimes kindergarten. And honestly, both processes are treated.
This run was about depth. About those moments when you have to look inside as honestly as possible. About how in the middle of pain you suddenly find not emptiness, but meaning and your higher purpose.
In physical practice, we learned to feel the ground under our feet again. Literally and symbolically. The earth gives birth, holds and accepts. And people hold. And you keep others.
We learned to feel each other just by looking into the eyes. Such a common understanding arose that no words would express. And the love that filled us and the whole lawn where we worked.
And there were also Sadhu boards. Standing on nails and not running away from pain – there is something about it. Something so powerful that everyone solved some internal problem or conflict while standing. And of course I felt how it is – to get back on solid ground. More painful than the nails themselves.
However, we went through this pain together. We learn to live it and turn it into a force. We learn to push back from trauma in order to grow. And comes the realization that «Veterans’ Hut» is not about lectures or exercises. It's about life. About trust. About the inner rod. About people with whom you can be yourself.
PS. The program is free for veterans and their families. Share this material with friends who need it. And of course, we are very grateful for your likes and comments on social networks.
