Recruitment for the fourth wave of the «Veterans’ Hut» project is underway!

We invite veterans, as well as their family members living in the Kyiv region, to join our large and friendly veteran family. 
«Veteran's hut» — is a health and educational center where Ukrainian defenders and their families receive psychological support, share their experiences in their circle and recover. Here we hold individual and group psychological sessions, personal development trainings, creative workshops and art classes. 
And most importantly — all participants of our project have the opportunity to acquire the profession of a psychologist at one of the most authoritative universities — Taras Shevchenko KNU. After completing the training, our participants put the acquired knowledge into practice — provide psychological support to other veterans and help them integrate into civilian life. 
«Peer-to-peer — is our main idea. Veterans trust veterans, and that is why we train specialists from among those who went through the war themselves» — explains the author and leading psychologist of the project Oleksandr Tkachenko. 
Three waves of training have already taken place within the «Veteran's House» project. Program participants who have acquired a new profession successfully provide psychological assistance to their brothers and their families. And the fourth wave of the project will start very soon!
We are currently running a recruiting campaign: the «Veteran's Hut» team travels to the cities of Kyiv region to personally meet veterans and their families and present the project program. We have already visited Irpen, Obukhov and Brovary, and ahead of us are — Vasylkiv.
Our reliable partners — Kyiv Regional Employment Center and Kyiv City Employment Center help us in these meetings, because all meetings are held in their branches.
