She is a doctor, a wife who fought for his life when there was almost no chance.Together, they go from pain to recovery and find a footing in the «Veteran's Hut», where veterans and their families learn to live again, step by step.This series is about what real strength is in the ability to love.

«You probably have to live for those who are not. Maybe they are the ones who push us», — says Oleg, a volunteer who went to the front at the age of 60.After being wounded and demobilized, he found support at «Veterans’ Hut», completed a psychological recovery program and became a master's student in psychology at KNU Tarasa Shevchenko. Now he helps other veterans go the same way — from pain to awareness, from trauma to development.
The mission of «Veterans’ Hut» — is to turn the experience of war into a power for recovery, learning and building a peaceful future.







Taisia Boyko and Marina Dudina
«I saw people dying and realized: you have to live. Must love. Because otherwise why all this?» — says Taisia, a military nurse anesthetist who saved the lives of the military for 21 years.Marina is a ligament who passed Donbas and suffered a severe spinal injury while leaving Mariupol.
They saw the war close, but instead of closing themselves in pain decided to help others. Today, both are enrolled in a master's program in psychology to support fellow students and visitors returning from the front.
This movie is about women who turn the experience of war into an inner force.
