Assistant dog Sonya has no weekends or holidays

She works every day at the Lviv habilitation.ua Hub, helping veterans who learn to live anew after severe injuries and amputations.She and her love are always ready for every veteran who comes to recover.
Serhiy Tytarenko, a psychologist who manages all habilitation and rehabilitation processes at Khaba, also has no days off. He is Sonya's man, so she visits the residents with him and provides a full range of furry assistance in addition to various recovery activities.
Everything is thought out here so that even those who move on a cart feel comfortable and independent. In the Hub, they created a truly cozy space where everything is "a little" more convenient for people with disabilities. Barʼierless arrangement, elevator next to stairs, music room, gym, plant care, co-cooking, workshops. 21 days of support and gradual steps to feel control over your own life again.
After the assisted habilitation at the Hub, it becomes much more convenient for veterans to establish their lives in familiar, and no longer very comfortable, kitchens and bathrooms at home. And the main thing is to find the same confident: "I can!" – in all aspects of your life.
At the «Veterans’ Hut» we feel this community of goals. After all, our path – is about restoring, maintaining and finding new content after the war. The more such projects, the stronger the entire veteran community and Ukrainian society will become. And "your own" support is the strongest. Proven by three waves of participants in our programs.
