Tango for veterans

Participants of the «first wave of the educational and psychological recovery project «Veterans’ Hut» met with recruits of the second wave, which will start the other day. This time, «veterans» VH who entered the master's degree in psychology at Shevchenko KNU will already work with newcomers as interns. They told them why they decided to participate in the project, what results they have already achieved. However, it was immediately clear to even an outsider that during these six months the group became a real team, the members of which support each other. 
Oleksandr Tkachenko, the author of the project on psychological recovery and training of veterans and their family members, once again told the newcomers what awaits them: work, work and work on themselves again. But, of course, there will be pleasant hours: this time, art therapy classes – drawing, papier-mâché and maybe even ... dancing are planned for project participants. Since the meeting took place in the assembly hall of the Security Police Department in the Kyiv region, that is, the space allowed, we were visited by the Tango Blast Club tango school, which already has considerable experience working with the wounded and veterans of tangotherapy. And it seems that everyone liked it.
