Tango therapy: Everyone dances!

The psychological recovery program «Veterans’ Hut» uses body-oriented therapy – various movements, physical activity, walks, and – tango lessons. Tango is taught to the participants of the «Veterans’ Hut» by volunteers from the Tango Blast Club school. In this school, by the way, there is already a lot of experience working with the wounded and veterans in Kyiv hospitals.
Why tango? Well, first of all, it's nice and uplifts the mood. Secondly, the ability to dance will always come in handy in life. No wonder such couple dances are called «social». That is, unlike sports, anyone can learn them at any age. And they are a tool of communication and communication. But in any social dance, the leading role here is for the partner, who must learn the technique of leading the partner.
In addition, dancing in pairs to music significantly reduces the content of the stress hormone – cortisol in the body, but the content of testosterone, male hormone and endorphins, «happiness hormones, on the contrary, increases. In general, tango significantly calms a person and improves his mood.
